Move-In Costs Explained

We believe in full transparency. Here's exactly what you'll pay to become a StayHaven member — no hidden fees, no surprises.

1. Background Check Fee
Paid at application submission. Covers identity verification, criminal history, sex offender registry, and eviction history screening. Non-refundable.

2. Membership Activation Fee
Paid only after approval. One-time fee that grants access to our full portfolio of homes, community events, professional development, and all member benefits. Non-refundable.

3. First Week's Membership Dues
Paid at activation. Amount depends on the membership tier you select (Essential $150 — Studio $325). All weekly rates include Wi-Fi, utilities, kitchen, and laundry access.

No security deposit. Unlike traditional rentals, we don't require a deposit. After move-in, you'll be placed on a weekly recurring payment schedule through QuickBooks. Cancel anytime with proper notice — see our Terms & Conditions for details.

Background Check Authorization

As part of the membership application process, StayHaven (Capital Bridge REI LLC) conducts a background check on all applicants. A $50 non-refundable background check fee is required to begin screening. This fee is separate from the $200 membership activation fee, which is only charged if your application is approved.

The background check may include, but is not limited to: criminal history, sex offender registry, eviction history, and identity verification. Your Social Security Number will be requested separately through a secure, encrypted form after your initial application is reviewed.

Your personal information is handled in strict compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and is never shared with third parties beyond what is necessary to process your application.
